Our Terms of Service serve to provide clarity for seminar and circle participants and clients on the Service we offer, what we provide and what we can expect from each other.

We always prefer to engage with the actual person and situation at hand rather than simply apply fixed rules or terms. If there is any problem or question, please contact us and we will do our best to find a fair solution.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and you agree to enter into a legally binding contract with Ayama. If you do not agree to our Terms of Service, then you may not access the website or use our Service, including the information provided on our website, seminars and counselling, coaching and mediation services.

The Service we Provide

Ayama provides two main types of Services via its website and the information provided at ReConnective.Art:

1.) Seminars and Circles and
2.) Counselling, Coaching and Mediation.

1.) Seminars and Circles

Participation
The minimum age for participation in our seminars and circles is 18. We are inclusive and welcome any gender, sex, sexual orientation, relationship status, ethical relationship style, age above 18.

We do acknowledge that wealth is unfairly distributed in the world. Therefore, it is important to us that financial means do not hinder you from participation. If this is the case, please contact us.
For all of our events held in Portugal we do offer a 15% discount for Portuguese nationals.

Ethics
We at Ayama believe that clear ethical guidelines and transparent processes are crucial for the work done within the space of Re:Connective Arts and The Art of Re:Connective Loving. Abuse and exploitation also happen within alternative and conscious communities. Yet safe, caring and trusting spaces are essential for reconnection, openness, vulnerability, authenticity and healing.

Therefore we have developed general ethical guidelines for our work and also ethical guidelines for our seminars and circles that every participant and facilitator commits to before participation.

Changes to a Seminar or Circle
At times we may need to make minor adjustments to the program, activities or services being offered during a seminar or circle. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in the availability of certain kinds of food, transportation, specific kinds of accommodation, or changes in the kind of activities or topics being offered. No refunds will be made due to minor adjustments to a seminar or circle.

Contribution/Price
We offer a sliding scale of possible contributions. Please consider the median of each price range as our normal price. A lower price is for people with low income or limited economic means. A higher price is for people with a higher than average wealth and those who wish to support our work and making the seminars accessible to those wit less economic means.

Payment of Seminars
Once we have confirmed you participation, please pay the mentioned deposit within 7 days. We take this deposit as a security for the costs we have, including the seminar venue. The outstanding balance is due upon arrival.

Cancellation and Refund of Seminars
In case you have to cancel your participation, we will keep the deposit to cover the costs we have for the seminar venue, admin, etc.

In case you are able to provide a new suitable person that can take your place, we are happy to transfer 80% of the value of your deposit to the new person. Admission is at our discretion. In case the seminar is fully booked and attended (22 participants), we will refund you 80% of your deposit after the end of the seminar. In either case we will keep 20% of your deposit as admin fees.

In case of an emergency, accident or serious illness, please contact us and we will find a fair solution.

In case we have to cancel the seminar for any reason, we will return the deposit in full to you. The minimum number of participants is 8. If there are less participants, the seminar will be cancelled.

2.) Counselling, Coaching and Mediation

Counselling, Coaching and Mediation Services offered through Ayama and by Dr. Lars Weckbecker are subject to the following terms:

Rates and Fees
Acknowledging that material wealth is increasingly grossly unfairly distributed in this world, and to make our work financially available to more people, we offer a sliding scale of rates between 50 to 110 Euro per hour of counselling, coaching and/or mediation. We suggest the following rates:

• around 50 Euro if you are an individual, couple or family who considers themselves in a low or no income group or otherwise currently financially unstable.
• around 80 Euro is the normal rate which is for individuals, couples or families with medium income and wealth and who are financially stable.
• around 110 Euro is for those with a high income and wealth status that through their higher contribution help to make our work accessible to others with less money.

For rates for longer or larger projects beyond individual sessions or for organizations, institutions or communities, please contact us.

Reservation of a Session and Cancellation
Sessions are either held online via a secure meeting app or in person, in either English or German. Details will be agreed before the session is finally reserved.

Once you have made a booking by reserving a date and time for a session, you have entered a binding contract with us.

You can reschedule or cancel any reserved session up to 24 hours in advance for free. Please send us an email.

If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours in advance, we reserve the right to charge you up to 50% of the rate for the reserved session.

If you miss a session without cancelling or rescheduling in advance, we reserve the right to charge you up to 75% of the rate for the reserved session.

In case you have a good reason for missing the appointment, such as an emergency or accident, please contact us. We will find a fair solution.

Payment of a Session
Payment must be made before the session begins, unless otherwise agreed.

Personal Information & Data

Your submission of personal information and data through our website and all of our Services or tools (including forms, email, social media, etc.) is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel reservations or bookings if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Ayama is committed to keeping this website up to date and accurate. Should you nevertheless encounter anything that is incorrect or out of date, we would appreciate it if you could send an email to: [email protected].

We cannot and do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

By using our Service, including participating in one of our seminars or circles or a counselling, coaching or mediation session, you declare that you are aware of the following and that you consent to waive any liability of Ayama, the seminar facilitators, the operators of the seminar or Dr. Lars Weckbecker for potential physical, psychological or financial damage, harm or problems that may arise out of your participation in any of Ayama’s Services, except where gross negligence on our side is the cause. This includes any information provided by us as well as your participation in any of our seminars, circles, sessions, events and activities.

All efforts have been made to assure the accuracy of the provided information as of the date of publication. However, we cannot warrant that the information and results that may be obtained from the use of our website and Service will always be accurate or reliable. Information can change, be misunderstood, vague or inaccurate, applied out of context, etc. Hence, Ayama does not accept any responsibility for your health, how you choose to use the information contained in our Service or your outcomes resulting from applying the information, practices and methods suggested.

You are acknowledging that you are participating voluntarily in using our Service. You alone are solely and personally responsible for the results and understand that results differ by each individual. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will attain a particular result. The benefits will be based on many variables, including but not limited to, your individual capacity, life experience, unique health and genetic profile, starting point, expertise, level of commitment and further professional support.

Participation in our seminars, circles or sessions, like any physical or challenging psychological work presents some low yet unavoidable risk of injury or harm, especially to people who have pre‐existing injuries, illness or medical disabilities. You recognize that many changes may occur as a result of participation in our seminars or sessions, including possible short‐term aggravation of some symptoms, strong emotions, feelings of tiredness, light‐headedness, increased energy, fundamental life changes, mood changes etc.

During a seminar or circle, you will keep the seminar facilitators informed of any physical or psychological/mental condition or disability, which would prevent or limit your participation in any activity or exercise. You acknowledge that, although the seminar or circle is likely to have substantial physical and psychological benefits, the facilitators are not engaged in diagnosing or treating individual medical or mental diseases or issues. Nor do they provide any type of therapy or medical treatment during the seminars or circles, including psychotherapy, or make any promises towards health and healing.

All offers of counselling, coaching or mediation serve exclusively for personal development and do not replace diagnosis or treatment by a doctor, psychotherapist or alternative practitioner. Our offerings do not constitute medical treatment or therapy.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at Ayama.

Data Protection

Ayama shall make every reasonable effort to protect its systems and data against any form of unlawful access and use. Ayama shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to this end. Ayama shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever, direct and/or indirect, suffered by a user of the website, which arises as a result of the unlawful use of its systems by a third party.

Ayama accepts no responsibility for the content of websites to which or from which a hyperlink or other reference is made. Products or services offered by third parties shall be subject to the applicable terms and conditions of those third parties.
