Ayama
Centre for Re:Connective Arts
Aloha. Welcome to Ayama.
We research, develop and share Re:Connective Arts in the shape of reconnective seminars, circles, experiential spaces, counselling, coaching and mediation. We work in service of healing and transformation towards a regenerative and reconnective culture and a joyful and healthy you, living in deep loving (re-)connection.
What are Re:Connective Arts?
Re:Connective Arts is an integrative concept that encompasses a set of (creative) approaches, practices, methods, tools, techniques and spaces that empower human beings and communities to become aware of, address and heal their dis-ease causing layers of disconnection and alienation.
Re:Connective Arts operate at the intersection of artistic, healing and psycho-political-affective and spiritual practices that empower us to consciously reconnect to the sources of life and love, our authentic self, our soul, mind, body and spirit as well as the world, biosphere and beings around us. Thus Re:Connective Arts challenge us to face our dis-ease causing layers of disconnection, yet at the same time invite joy, healing and transformation within and outside of ourselves.
Re:Connective Arts draw upon and deepen a rich and diverse existing body of research, theory and practice that is unified in its service towards regenerative and reconnective living and loving. Their practice is open to and shaped by ancient wisdom as well as modern sciences, Western thought as well as Eastern philosophy and practice, critical theory as well as embodiment, movement and psycho-political-affective and spiritual practices.
The modus operandi of Re:Connective Arts is rooted in the humility of the openness of encounter of what is present and the celebration of deep connection in and through diversity, not in the dogma of a singular superior truth or norm. We are all on our own individual path and field of resonance, yet united by a deep longing and need for (re-)connection in a world of disconnection.
At Ayama we focus our practice and the development of Re:Connective Arts on the following interwoven areas:
- soul arts
- relational arts
- embodiment & movement arts
- mindful & spiritual arts
The Art of Re:Connective Loving
