The Centre

Since 2021 we have been spotting for suitable land to create a down-to-earth reconnective seminar and retreat centre within the nature of Central Portugal. But legal restrictions and bureaucracy have made a reconnected and regenerative life within nature increasingly difficult and so our search continues… We will update this page as things develop.

The Centre will be able to host up to 25 seminar participants, co-creators, visitors, facilitators and friends and provide common facilities, a shala/meeting space and accommodation, mostly in tents, yurts and some eco-domes that reconnect to nature. The project will be built using ideas and principles of permaculture, syntropic, regenerative and biodynamic agriculture and biotecture, integrated into – rather than imposed upon – the natural surroundings and local biosphere.
